  • My sweet 3 month old Golden Retriever went to Ali for boarding while I was out of town for a little over a week! While I was gone I got to see pics and videos of Sadie enjoying her time. I loved that while I was gone my puppy was getting socialization and new experiences without being at a big, boarding kennel. It felt more like my puppy was at summer camp :) I loved knowing that Sadie was in good hands from someone who truly loves and cares about dogs so I could enjoy my vacation without worry!   • I couldn’t recommend Ali enough! She did a 12 week program with my dog, Sisi, on general obedience and laid a great foundation for her to become a service dog. After Sisi’s program was finished I spent 3 days with Ali as she worked with Sisi and I in public settings to build confidence between the two of us. Now I take Sisi pretty much everywhere I go. She is so well mannered and adored by everyone. She listens to commands while I train at my BJJ gym and is very patient for the 1-2 hours I am training. Ali treats all dogs as if they were her own. They stay in her home and she goes above and beyond when caring for them. Sisi was a foster before I adopted her. Ali took such great care for her and her needs as she is a high anxiety/high energy dog. She really can handle any dog and is quite knowledgeable when it comes to different personalities of the dogs in her care.

  • Ali is amazing! We adopted a Malinois Shepherd mix, Percy, who showed reactivity at 6 months old. He would bark/growl at strangers and ignore commands, making walks difficult. We found Ali training in public and were impressed with the obedience and composure of the dog with her! We signed up for an 8 session block during which Ali was super responsive and flexible when it came to scheduling and very informative and hands-on during our training sessions. She worked with us in all aspects of dog care - nutrition, public & private training, obedience work, other dog interactions, and showed genuine interest in Percy’s future! Within a month, Percy can go on walks and check in with me when he encounters something that would previously cause reactivity. We were also able to leave him with Ali during a vacation trip which did not seem like an option just weeks prior during which Ali sent us constant updates and pictures. We were very relieved in knowing he is with someone knowledgeable and caring! Our time with Ali has been invaluable and will be our first choice for help in the future!

  • I'm on the east coast but I found the perfect dog to adopt in California. I have never done a long-distance adoption before and knew I was going to need some help along with needing some fundamental training before I brought him home. I did some looking around and found Pytka Performance K9 nearby. I reached out and I’m so happy I did. Ali far exceeded my expectations. She walked me through everything I needed to know with the adoption, how the training sessions with her would go, and even the process of getting a dog from the bay area to Philly. She made me feel so much more comfortable with the process. I came out to California, picked up my new puppy, and met her for our first session. Her extensive background in animal behavior was immediately apparent. She knew exactly how the dog would react to different actions and commands and even had some specific tips and tricks based on his personality. Ali honestly almost did more training with me than the dog. She has an almost uncanny ability to express even more complex training concepts in simple and straightforward ways that I could understand, which gave me valuable knowledge I could take home with me. We did a few more sessions before I was ready to take my puppy back to the east coast. Ali helped me set up the transport with the airline and explained how the process would work. It was invaluable assistance when trying to navigate an unfamiliar airport and my first time through that process. Once I was back home, Ali had always said that she would be my trainer for the life of my dog and she really meant it. Even though I was three time zones away, she would always answer my questions and helped us through some of the early growing pains of integrating the new dog into our family. She was also previously a vet tech, so she was even able to give us some expert advice on some little medical issues that cropped up. I would highly recommend Ali as a reliable, knowledgeable, and dedicated trainer. She really cares about the dogs and developing the relationship between he dogs and their owners and it shows through the work that she does.

  • Ali is an experienced trainer that has worked with me and two of my dogs - her advice is top notch and it's clear that she truly cares about the animals. She is great at explaining things in a way I can understand and she always makes time for me when I have questions. My dogs have boarded with her several times and they always come home happy and well exercised (very important for my energetic Lab mixes!) I can't recommend her more.
